All participants are required to check-in at the registration table. Individuals who are registering the day of the race must arrive early (5:45 am - 7:15 am) to register. All runners must secure their provided bibs and timing chips. Runners will begin lining up at the start line at 7:30 am. Runners will begin at 7:45 am sharp. Walkers will begin at 8:15 am.

Location and Course:

The fun run/walk kicks off at the Downtown Aquarium. The Downtown Aquarium is located at 410 Bagby St, Houston, TX 77002. The race course is next to the Aquarium along the Buffalo Bayou on the Sabine-to-Bagby Promenade (see map included in your packet). The promenade is a loop that is run or walked twice to complete the 3 mile distance. There will be crossing of streets, due to construction and two sets of stairs per pass (both sets of stairs will need to be climbed twice). For this reason, we discourage strollers and wagons on the walking portion of the race. Follow the RED Balloons that will lead up and down the stairs at Sabine St. and Bagby St.

Timing Chips:

All runners will receive timing chips in packets. After the run, volunteers will be collecting chips. Walkers will not be timed, but will have a clock.

Water/First Aid/Security/Restrooms:

Water stations will be available on the race course for participants. Qualified medical personnel and HPD officers will also be available. Restrooms will be available on the Aquarium grounds.

Personal Belongings:

There will be no designated area for personal belongings such as water bottles, packets, clothing, keys, etc. Please plan ahead to store these items. The PCOS Foundation, Amerejuve, Downtown Aquarium and City of Houston are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

The event will take place rain or shine. Check weather.com for weather updates.

Dogs, Strollers, Bikes:

No dogs are allowed at the Aquarium. Because stairs are part of the course, we discourage strollers and wagons on the walking portion of the race, but they are permitted. No bikes or skates are allowed.

Announcements & Award Ceremony:

We will be giving the top three male and female winners prizes. Pictures will be taken throughout event. The photographs will be able to purchased.

PCOS Symposium...

Wow! This is incredible! I was diagnosed with PCOS at age 14 and I am so amazed at how much has been accomplished. I am now 26 and I am so happy to see that PCOS is finally being recognized.
